With a BFA from William Patterson University and a 40+ year residence in Sussex County, Phylis Barfoot is a multidisciplinary artist and designer. Inspired by the “Fingerprints of God” in nature, she enjoys the delights of patterns, texture and color in her daily surroundings. These can often be found in her paintings, textile dyeing, basketry, assemblage, eco-printing and jewelry. She has won many awards and her work is in private collections from coast to coast.
