Graduated biochemist and a science teacher, Yulia is an educator, naturalist, and a soul photographer by heart. Called by her close friends a “nature whisperer”, she finds her inspiration and harmony in the natural world. Through decades of spiritual training and meditation she developed unique intuition that lets her see details that normally go unnoticed. Her ability to observe and listen grants her access to hidden chapters of creatures’ lives.
At the age of 12, Yulia got her first film camera, and it opened a new realm to a young introvert. Later, she was taking photography classes, but mostly for the opportunity to use a dark room. Through her life, photography has been her guide, her motivation, and a confidant. She, however, does not consider herself a photographer in the common meaning of the word.
Yulia’s hope is to re-introduce Nature to people through her works, help find “the missing link” that connects each of us to the eternal soul.
