Bruce Young has been a long time resident of Vernon, N.J. and draws inspiration from scenes in Sussex County, N.J. and Orange County, N.Y. as well as New York City.
He attended The Newark School of Fine and Industrial Art in the late 1960s, where he concentrated on painting the human figure in oils. For the past twenty+ years his main interest is pen and ink, both black and white and colored ink, as well as graphite and pastel portraits of animals and people.
His work is in collections both nationally and internationally.
