John is a prolific painter and has been creating art for the past 30 years. Early on he studied studio art on the high-school level. As the years progressed his professional life took him in the direction of real-estate development. He found ways to incorporate his love of art and design into this career. From designing housing communities to decorating model homes and apartments, art and design have always been a part of his life. Many of his pieces can be found in real-estate projects throughout NJ. In the past he was the founder and a director of Skylands Gallery in Sussex County, NJ and has more recently founded this gallery, The Gallery at The Workspace.

John’s style tends towards abstract. He states his artwork truly comes from his soul. As much of the work is more abstract the meaning of the work is not always immediately evident. But, he feels when looking at his pieces for a time the viewer should begin to feel a certain emotion. Sometimes it evokes a different feeling from the viewer than what he intended but many times it does align. John’s main goal for all his pieces is to create a visually pleasing work, ones where all the parts come together to make gorgeous works of art.
